OMG I'm Heavy!

No Really my own weight is crushing!!! Between my accumulative handstands and my HSPU practice Monday...

I've came to the conclusion that I am heavy! Not like obese or overweight, just that I'm on the heavier side of my healthy and somehow I doubt it's from muscle. Right positive attitude; Let's see if we can't fix that. Maybe a little more Paleo and a little less banana bread (literally can smell it cooking in the oven as I type), there's no reason I've ever known to refuse bacon, sausage, broccoli, eggs, chicken, steak, salad.... ummm gotta jet, I hear the cashews calling. See below for what's I accomplished for today :)

8 hours of sleep is healthy...but...

Sleep is for Quitters. I am NOT a quitter.

I am however drowsy at this time of night and would much rather be sleeping than thinking about tomorrow's WOD. Luckily for me I have Coach Carl from NAKA Athletics to motivate me :) He's like my personal Guru, if I ever meet him I'm skipping the handshake and going straight to a hug. Enjoy his zen-like wisdom!

Crazy Paleo People

Why can't 'Bear Creek Caramel' be Paleo? If I called it "bear creek" would it count? .... I mean is does kinda sound like wild game!!

Okay so I can't seem to keep this paleo habit under wraps. I try and I try but without fail I find myself in a position (either by time or lack of choices) where I'm stuck eating something that doesn't qualify as meat or vegetables. I don't how to fix this, it's super frustrating!! Especially when I am all gung-ho about behaving and not putting shit in me that doesn't belong. I know I have to try to be more creative here and plug away but it's just so damn hard....sigh... I think I'm just going to carry around boiled eggs and cashews for the rest of my life

I think I can

Are you kidding me! This is day 2! Oh right, bucking the system, working for a better me, all that feel good jazz.


So single mother problem.... three kids, all want to sleep next to me on various nights, but I sleep on the couch (never mind the why people, it's irrelevant) so basically how do I get up to do my home workout without waking them up too if I give and bunk with them for the night??? This is a very precarious perch for me. I'm gonna have to put some serious thinking into the handling of this... In the meantime here my twod (bahahaha! Still sounds funny):

Train...ing

No gym membership? I have is myself! Traveling WODs it will be... TWOD <giggle, giggle>

I am Going to do this! I will be taking back my fitness and my body because I can. No more excuses, no more set backs. Just gonna keep on plugging up that mountain and don't care anymore if I get to the top and can coast down the other side. I am a little blue engine and I am train...ing.


Come on there really is no excuse! So I don't have a gym at my disposal, I'm a smart gal I can do this without one for the time being. Besides when you look at the long run if I DO join a CrossFit gym I don't want to be an out of shape, lump on a log trying to clean a bar and failing miserably because I gave up on push-ups!But just because I think some street creds in order, props for trying to accomplish this with this little space and this many kids trying to make it work





Although I should look at getting a pull-up bar and bands. Hmmmm....shopping trip anyone? Maybe after my "Invisible" Fran:
